How do I obtain my Client ID and Secret for PayPal?

Coworkify uses new PayPal REST API and requires that you obtain your own Client ID and Secret.

To do so, you will need to go to My REST app page at PayPal website and create new app for Coworkify. Here are the steps.

1) Visit My REST app page

2) Create new account by clicking on a "Sign Up" link or log in using your PayPal account.



3) Create new app by clicking on a "Create App" button.



4) For app name enter "Coworkify", select one of your sandbox developer accounts and click on a "Create App" button at the bottom.



5) Once the app is created, click on a "Show" button next to see your live credentials.

Be sure that you have a business PayPal account, not a personal PayPal account. If you have a personal account, you won't be able to see your live credentials. Please upgrade to business account in that case.



6) Copy Client ID and Secret of live credentials.



7) Paste copied Client ID and Secret into Coworkify's settings page and click on a 'Save' button.
